Most Energy Efficient Weapons?
Any ideas on what weapon set gives you the most energy without the -1 energy regen hit?
I've got the Earth Scroll from the collector in Vasburg and a Totem Axe, but I was wondering if there are better weapons that give a high energy output without the penalty.

That +15/-1 mod isnt usually your best bet, to be honest, unless you have a good method of gaining energy back. If you do, such as Soul Reaping, or use skills just designed to gain energy, then you can offset that -1 pretty well. (channeling, attunements etc, but these arent always reliable.) Non-necro chars are usually better off with the extra pip of regen than with the 15pts imo.
otherwise, a staff can give 20energy, and a weapon/offhand combo gives 17.

Keep the conditions in mind when deciding, though.
A +20e staff includes +5e that is conditional on being above 50% health, but none of the energy requires speccing in the staff's attribute. So any profession will have +20e bonus from that staff, including martial professions. (Which is why trapper rangers, for example, often carry staves, even though they do no spellcasting.) Furthermore, spellcasters can change attributes without losing any benefit from the staff except damage, which is largely irrelevant, since the HSR of a staff applies to all spells of any attribute.
A +17e wand/offhand includes +5e that is conditional and +12e that is tied to a particular attribute.
A +17e martial-weapon/offhand has an unconditional +5e but still has +12e tied to an attribute.

One more thing to note is with the conditional +5e on the staff you can choose between +5e while your health is above 50% or +5e while enchanted. When I do farm with my Perma-Sin he is always enchanted (or he will die), also if you are farming with an Ele, or most any other profession almost all farms require you to use maintain some kind of enchantment at all times. So it may be in your best interest to use the +5e while enchanted, just analyze your farming needs.
